{"id":4646,"date":"2023-06-06T10:18:29","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T10:18:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hactebcn.org\/?post_type=activitats&#038;p=4646"},"modified":"2024-02-27T15:42:48","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T15:42:48","slug":"oasi-uoc","status":"publish","type":"activitats","link":"https:\/\/old.hactebcn.org\/en\/activities\/oasi-uoc\/","title":{"rendered":"Xerrada performativa \u2018The Smallest of Worlds\u2019, amb Uwe Brunner, Bettina Katja Lange i Joan Soler-Adillon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>This activity is part of the program Oasi, within the exhibition Digital Impact<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Oscillating between the physical and the virtual dimension, The Smallest of Worlds<br \/>\n(2021) and #See You at Home (2022) explore the meaning of private and intimate space<br \/>\nin times of ubiquitous connectivity, examining home in its dual relationship between safe<br \/>\nshelter and a platform for public exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>This lecture performance will delve into the archive of these two artworks, which is made<br \/>\nup of a multitude of digitized private spaces, with its narrative, intimate routines, and<br \/>\npersonal memories: fragments that were collected in more than 40 countries during the<br \/>\nmost intense periods of self-isolation during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Showing the archive from a new perspective, custom made for Digital Impact\u2019s immersive<br \/>\nspace, the artists will discuss the implications of the ways our perceptions of such private and<br \/>\nintimate spaces radically changed during this intense period, and are now being reconfigured<br \/>\nto achieve new meanings in a hybrid context where our online and offline presence is<br \/>\never more entangled.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2020, Uwe Brunner, Bettina Katja Lange and Joan Soler-Adillon have worked<br \/>\ntogether to explore how immersive experience can offer new and unique narratives.<br \/>\nTheir work has been shown in major European XR and documentary festivals in Europe<br \/>\nand around the world.
